The Bulgarian Wine House is a home in a faraway land, built out of my desire to learn and tell you the story of our generous land. Under this roof you will find a rich collection of grape varieties, grown effortlessly in its diverse terrains, temperatures and altitudes. You will learn stories about the people who grow them.
Wines can be a means of traveling back in time, immersing you in the eternal history of production – a legacy written and passed down for centuries in Bulgaria.

This project embodies a quest for the purest expression of our land, an exploration of its rich history, and a deep connection to its soul. Our journey seeks the creation of an intriguing, balanced and unadulterated wine — a new chapter written each year, woven from its terroir and the unique conditions of the vintage. Simplicity guides our path, as we follow producers who possess a distinct touch. Their craft transforms these grapes into wines that embody the very essence of the regions they hail from.

What Sets Us Apart?
Old vines - over half of them aged over thirty years, bestow our wines with an unmatched complexity and depth.
Bulgaria, often a hidden gem in the world of wine, boasts a unique terroir and age-old grape diversity that set it apart from its peers.
The Thracians, with evidence of winemaking dating back to 4000 BC, contributes to the richness of our heritage. The Bulgarian respects and honors wine on an equal footing with bread. The main livelihood is viticulture, and local cellars produce wines known throughout the Roman Empire.
After a severe economic decline, a revival in Bulgarian crafting has occurred, driven by a new generation of winemakers who focus on quality and indigenous grape varieties.
