Delivery & Shipping
A Thoughtful Delivery Experience
At Bulgarian Wine House, we believe that exceptional wines deserve equally thoughtful delivery. Every order is handled with care and delivered to the address provided at checkout via our trusted logistics partners.
For customers within a 15 km radius of Kanaaldijk 15, Leerbroek, we offer a more personal touch — complimentary hand delivery, typically arranged for the same day or the next business day.
Across the Netherlands, orders are usually delivered within 1–2 business days.
Shipping within the Netherlands
- Complimentary delivery on orders of €250 and above
- For smaller orders, a €8.95 shipping fee applies
We choose to keep our pricing transparent and considered. Rather than incorporating hidden shipping costs into our bottle prices, we present them clearly — ensuring fairness and clarity for every order.
International Delivery
We are pleased to deliver beyond the Netherlands. Shipping costs for international orders depend on destination and order size and will be confirmed with you personally after your order is placed.
Ordering
We recommend a minimum order of 6 bottles to ensure safe and efficient transport. You are welcome to create mixed cases and explore a variety of wines within a single order.
Orders placed before 14:00 (CET) are typically dispatched the same business day.
Delivery Timing
Within the Netherlands, delivery is generally completed within 1–2 business days after dispatch.
While we work with reliable partners, delivery times remain indicative and may occasionally vary.
Age Verification
In accordance with Dutch law, orders containing alcohol can only be delivered to persons aged 18 or older. Our delivery partners may request valid identification upon delivery. We kindly ask that someone of legal age is present to receive the shipment.
Unsuccessful Delivery Attempts
If a delivery cannot be completed due to the recipient not being available, a new delivery attempt can be arranged. Additional charges may apply.
Returns
Should you wish to return wines, we kindly ask that you contact us in advance for written approval.
Approved returns must:
- be in original packaging
- be in resalable condition
A handling fee of €0.25 (excl. VAT) per bottle applies, as well as a return shipping fee of €17.50 (excl. VAT).
Payments
Invoices are payable within 21 days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed.
All wines remain the property of Bulgarian Wine House until full payment has been received.

Delivery
- Complimentary delivery for orders above €750 (excl. VAT)
- €20 delivery fee for smaller orders
- €12.50 handling fee for collection orders under 90 bottles
Volume Benefits
We are pleased to offer the following volume incentives:
- 5% for orders from 60 bottles
- 8% for orders from 120 bottles
Additional Notes
We kindly ask that all deliveries are checked upon receipt. Any discrepancies or damage should be noted at the time of delivery and reported to us promptly.
